The waivers are for the teams, not the individual players. The teams do have to play games, just not the whole schedule.
i meant they played teams from ky tn i think the only local team they played was 1 game against coeburn i was jsut wondering if that dissallowed them from playing in the tourney where they did not play local games

We played Norton once, seemed to have a pretty good squad. They had other games scheduled, but always canceled, their coach said they had problems getting everyone to show up.
most times they had at least 9 players aged 13-14 most rising 8th graders or 9th graders, i was jsut curious why they did not play in the jr league tourney whether it was a c.d.(coaches decision) or some other reason
More than likely, vacations took its toll
prob right
Coeburn's 11-12 softball won the district title tonight 13-3 and earned a trip to the state tourny in Va. Beach. These girls should represent the area well, if I'm not mistaken this is the group of girl's that won a state tile a couple years back in the 9-10 division.
In Junior League Baseball Lee West beat Pound 15-5 in 5 innings.
Lee West will play BSG tomorrow to decide who will play Coeburn in the Championship.
In Senior League Baseball the winner of tonights Clintwood/Norton game will play BSG in the championship tomorrow.
Senior League
Norton beat Clintwood
22-21
yeah the sores right hahah
